Cro-Shayley makes the Puppy Dog Hat for her Little One

Red Heart's Puppy Dog HatGuess what Red Heart friends?!?! I’m expecting my first baby — A BOY — at the end of October and I’ve only just begun making things for him. I really need to get on the ball because he will be here in no time! EEEK!

Now that I know “it” is a “he” I’m going to start whiping things up for sure. I love to make baby hats, especially the ones that are quick and easy but look like they took you weeks to make! ;)

And the Winners Are!!!

I was so excited to see the wonderful designs that were winners of the CGOA (Crochet Guild of America) Design Competition recently in Manchester, New Hampshire. So with little ado, here is a link to a photo presentation of all the winners. Please enjoy and be inspired!

The Burbank Fiber Friends play with Boutique Swanky

Imagine my delight when a box of Red Heart Boutique Swanky arrived on my doorstep!!! I had to play with the yarn right away!!! It was over the long President’s Day weekend that I crocheted a hat with this beautiful shiny, sequin laced yarn. It drapes really well, it’s easy to work with and it sparkles like you can only imagine.
Photos do not do this yarn justice. You have to see it in person! Continue reading “The Burbank Fiber Friends play with Boutique Swanky”
