Have you thought about what you might do for Knit and Crochet in Public? Grab a few friends, your knitting or crochet, a chair and enjoy a day in the park talking and sharing your work. Knitting and crocheting in public is a great way for people to come together, share ideas and make new friends. There are so many ways groups can come together and use this to beautify an unsightly area or work together on projects for the less fortunate. Make hats & scarves for the homeless, stuffed animals and blankets for needy children, blankets and wraps for senior centers, baby items for hospital … and let’s not forget all those who have recently suffered from all the tornadoes and storms. Most shelters, hospital and senior center are more than glad to accept your donations. Continue reading “World Wide Knit and Crochet in Public”

It’s Wednesday, and we are now on week 9 of the WNSC. We are approaching the end of this season … can’t believe how quickly this time has gone. I’ve used this time each week to work on projects not only for myself, but also as gifts. I’m traveling this week and haven’t had much down time to sit and stitch and this is one time I don’t have a project traveling with me. I do have my hooks and a couple skeins of With Love, so I might just free style stitch tonight while I’m watching American Idol.
