Cro-Shayley makes a Super Hero Outfit

My baby boy just turned 9 months old this past weekend and I wanted to take some fun pictures of him. I searched Red Heart’s free patterns to see if I could find something to crochet that screams his personality and came across the Halloween Boy Hero pattern. AHHH!!! HOW PERFECT!

This pattern offers different sizes so for my growing 9 month old, I decided to crochet the smallest size, size 2, and use Red Heart Super Saver Royal and Hot Red yarn.

Cro-Shayley makes a Bear Sweater

Cro-Shayley makes a Bear Sweater

Bear SweaterLast year, a friend who works on the yearbook team for a local elementary school asked me to make a sweater for a bear that would appear in many upcoming yearbook pictures. She asked for a blue and gray striped sweater with a red “B” in the center. As I was searching Red Heart’s free patterns for a baby sweater, I came across the Little Prince Crown Sweater and thought I could definitely tweak this pattern to fit the bear. I was feeling LUCKY ;) so I tried the pattern with only 1 strand of Super Saver yarn and wadduya know…it fits my little leprechaun!
