If you are anything like me, the holidays tend to sneak up on you – and that goes double for ones like Mother’s Day! Usually, it’s my kids that end up reminding me… when they ask what I’d like to get for Mother’s Day “tomorrow!”
When I learned how to crochet over 16 years ago, I thought I’d found a new favorite hobby. And though in the busyness of young motherhood I would sometimes put down the hook for a little while, I always picked it back up again, finding joy and peace inside the stitches.
I’m so excited that winter is almost over – and I bet our friends down (way way) south are happy to see autumn on the horizon!
I absolutely adore yarn – what crocheter doesn’t? And like most, I find myself drawn to the same yarns over and over again. Red Heart certainly has some go-to yarns for me – and I’m always excited to see the new ones too! I’ve designed many of my free crochet patterns using Red Heart Yarn, and I’d love to share them with you here today. Don’t worry – they’re all linked to the free patterns, so you can make them yourself!
