Check Out Our New Look!

Commemorating its 80th anniversary this year, Red Heart yarns debuts a fresh new logo and packaging to inspire knitters, crocheters and makers. The change marks the company’s milestone year and Red Heart’s next chapter in our history.

Our yarn is the same Red Heart yarn you’ve loved for 80 years. The iconic Red Heart logo is now rounder with softer edges for a more contemporary look. The yarn packaging has been updated with a clean, easy to read layout and modernized fonts.

We have 4 distinct categories of yarns, so it’s easy to see them in stores: Basics, Essentials, Fashion, and Baby. The new packaging labels are on the top and the old labels are on the bottom row.

The website has a fresh new look, but the navigation is similar and all of the existing free patterns are still here.

Beautiful new look. Congratulations with your 80th anniversary. I did not love Red Heart yarn in the last 80 years, because (hihi) Red Heart yarns are much older than I am.

    Enjoy your day, Margaret

Happy Birthday! I have been around a few years longer than you (I am 86). Started using Red Heart from the dime store to make 6 inch squares to be made into covers for our service men in Europe following WW2. You still have a great product.

Happy Birthday. I 86 so have been around a little longer. In the 1940s, I would go to the 5 & 10 cent store to buy Red Heart to make afghans for the military in Europe. And of course still buy it. Thank you for a great product.

I have been using Red Heart for over 50 Years. Do you have a new chart of your new colors and what colors match with your variegated. All I can find is the chart that’s been around forever.

The new look is quite zippy! I love that all my “old” Red Heart (from even last month’s purchases) will be considered “vintage” now. ;-)

Thank you so much for continuing to make reliable yarn for a reasonable price. You are keeping many, many of us out of the loony bin by giving us a craft to keep our minds and hands busy. :-)

I want to crochet a pattern that uses Red Heart Super Saver 313 Aran. What does Aran mean? I haven’t found a skein that has 313 Aran on the label. Please enlighten me. The pattern I want to make is the Snow Bunny Crochet Blanket pattern.
