Does the Tooth Fairy need to come make a special visit to your home sometime soon? If so, be sure to make Crochet Today’s Tooth Fairy Pillow so the special fairy will be sure to easily find the tooth and leave a little surprise behind for the next morning.
I made the Tooth Fairy Pillow for my ohhh-so-fast growing nieces. Everytime we visit each other, they are so proud to show off their newest wiggly tooth. Doesn’t that just make you cringe a little when kids do that?!?! Eeeeek! But when I was their age, I remember being so excited to show mine off as well.
The yarn I used for this project was Soft Baby Steps in White and Strawberry.
To begin, you make the body of the tooth with one side having a little opening for the pocket.
Then a little square insert piece is made and sewn to the inside of the tooth body to close the pocket.
And now your pocket insert is made. Stick a rolled dollar inside to test it! :)
Next comes the making of the rosie cheeks and the tooth roots.
Here is a fun little trick I learned while making this pillow. To make a bow, all there is to it is crocheting a small rectangle. Then with a separate piece of yarn, tying a knot around the center of the square. The sides will then curl inward making a cute little bow. How cute!
To finish, clip on the eyes, stuff the body and tooth roots, sew into place and weave in the ends.
Now surprise a little one you know with this cute Tooth Fairy Pillow.

Is there a place to get the pattern for this project? Thanks.
Hi, Thanks for your question. The pattern was from Crochet Today magazine, which is no longer being published. We do not have the pattern on our website.
Since Crochet Today is no longer in print and it is really hard to get a hold of this pattern, is there anyway that this could be posted on the Red Heart site? Or at least have the pattern archived somewhere?? Really a shame to have it posted about on the blog here when there is no way to make it b/c the pattern is not available. Such a bummer.

It seems that when you follow the link, it says…..”pattern cannot be found”. I would love to have the pattern to make the Tooth Fairy Pillow, can you tell me where I can access it? Thank you.
