Donna’s Dozen Spring Has Sprung Patterns

When I think of Easter it takes me back to a happy place when I was a child. I remember being so excited to shop for a new Easter dress and brand new white shoes, because it was okay to wear white again. I remember baskets, bunnies, egg hunts, flowers and warmer temperatures. It always seemed like everyone was just a little happier and it still makes me smile just thinking about this time of year.

My daddy used to hide silver dollars under rocks and my mom hid the boiled eggs hoping we found them all if you know what I mean. I hid plastic eggs for my kids with prizes and candy inside each one. It never failed, every year we found at least one egg months later while doing yard work with melted chocolate inside and each year we laughed.

I hope this blog with my dozen pattern picks will take you back to a fond memory in your life. There are some old favorites and several new patterns to pick from. Please enjoy and happy Spring to all!

How precious would your little girl look in this ripple capelet & hat? It just screams Spring time.

Do you have an 18” doll lover in the house? This outfit is a must have. Just look at those bunny slippers!

I do believe this one may by my favorite this year. A sweet bunny hat will put a smile on everyone’s face, from the adorable child wearing it to everyone that looks at him or her.

Last year I showed you a pink striped bunny. Well this year I bring you the Sunshine Striped Bunny. I think a little sunshine is what we need after this past Winter.

I love to decorate for Easter and I will have to add this design to my décor. These Chicks in a basket are just too cute to pass up.

The bunny slippers pattern has been on Red Heart.com for a while now, but these will never get old. Every child should have a pair.

If it is still a little chilly where you live then this Fluffy Bunny Hat will be perfect. It is made with Snuggle Bunny yarn and will keep your little one nice and cozy. The cute little bunny ears will add to their delightful personality.

I wish this had been around when my daughter was little. I can see her laying around with her favorite Bunny Pillow Pal all year long.

We all know that babies can’t eat chocolate so why not crochet this Baby Stripes Blanket as a keepsake? You can use these springy colors or change it up a bit.

Oh goody, more decorations! Your table setting will not be complete without these Easter placemats and napkin rings. There are enough colors in Super Saver to make your table look like a boutique of flowers.

I just love these Five Bunnies in a Basket. Red Heart Gumdrop has some bright and beautiful colors in the line so this is a creative way to showcase them.

Anyone going to an Easter Parade this year? If not, you can still make this to top off the perfect Easter frock. Make the flowers in the pretty pink tones shown or change them up to match an outfit.

I hope you enjoy the Spring patterns I have found for you. My wish is that they will not only help you remember a special time from the past, but also create wonderful memories for the future. Enjoy!
