I’d like to tell you a little about how we came to do our look book, Create with Color. We know that everyone has their own sense of style and would like their home to reflect that style. Since you are knitters and crocheters, we wanted to illustrate how the same throw or home décor items can work in different room surroundings. Of course, you have the added opportunity to change the colors to whatever you like. We used Super Saver and With Love so that there would be plenty of color choices.

I come from a long generation of fiber artists: my great-grandmother crocheted, my grandmother knit, and both my mom and my aunt crochet as well. I remember being 5 years old and seeing these gorgeous, brightly colored afghans all around my great-grandmother’s house. She kept them on the sofa, on chairs, and at least one in each bedroom. Everyone in my family has used Susan Bates hooks, so it just seemed natural that I would gravitate towards them too.
We have two new amazing types of Red Heart Super Saver yarn: Super Saver Stripes and Super Saver Ombré. Take a look at these fantastic patterns our Joy Creators have designed using the new color effect yarns.

It takes months, sometime years, of planning to make your wedding day perfect. There are so many overwhelming decisions that have to be made from the weddings rings to the honeymoon destination and a million other things in between. I went to Red Heart.com and found a dozen brilliant crochet projects that can be worn (or held) by the bride, wedding party, mother-of-the-bride/groom and there is even an 18” wedding doll. You may not have time to make something for yourself, but I bet there is someone special that would love to make a hand-crafted gift for the happy couple. It could be the start of a family heirloom to be passed down for generations.
