SUSAN BATES® LAUNCHES TIPPING POINTS™ -
A REVOLUTIONARY NEW INTERCHANGEABLE NEEDLE TIP SYSTEM FOR KNITTERS
Charlotte, NC, April 29, 2013 – Susan Bates ® is introducing a revolutionary product that knitters of all skill levels will be lining up to purchase. Tipping Points™ is the innovative new knitting needle that provides the only interchangeable tip on the market. This patent-pending product features point profices that can be quickly interchanged to meet the demands of a wide variety of yarn textures, fibers and twists. Each Tipping Point knitting needle set includes a pair of unique needle shafts and three distinct point profile tips; Blunt for fancy yarns or yarns with a low twist, Sharp for fine yarns or for making lace and cables and Medium for general purpose yarns and projects. To insure a snug fit, each set also includes rubberized gripper pads and a locking key that can be used to tighten the tips so they do not become loose while knitting. Color coded by size, these needles feature an updated vibrant color palette so they are as pleasing to the eye as they are to use. The sleek anodized aluminum needles have the size and point profile information laser etched on both the shaft and the tips. This makes matching the proper size to the correct shaft a cinch.
The initial launch will feature 10” straight needles in US sizes 4 through 10-1/2 (3.5mm – 6mm). Retail prices will range from $24.99 for US sizes 4 – 7 and $29.99 for US sizes 8 and above.
