Making Lace with Stitch Nation by Debbie Stoller

Lace knitting never seems to wane in popularity. But if you are like me with limited knitting time, fine lace yarn doesn’t have great appeal. Of course in my mind, I want to sit down and spend hours casting on hundreds of stitches and follow a complex chart – but then reality sinks in and I realize that I have to get back to my Red Heart work. So much for my knitting dreams!

Debbie Stoller came up with a brilliant solution that works perfectly for me and for other knitters who want beautiful lace with a simple 20 row chart and a reasonable gauge — behold the  Beloved Shawl. I’m going to make a fab shawl and still have time to finish the other WIP — Stitch Nation My Fair Cardi in Bamboo Ewe Sprout. I’m going to soon have some new wardrobe additions. Thanks Debbie!
