A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of introducing The Pasadena Crochet Meet Up to the beautiful Red Heart Soft yarn. The texture, the way it drapes, and the variety of colors are just amazing. Some of the group members opted to use Red Heart Super Saver for this project and it worked out just as well.
The “Infinite Shells Cowl” pattern calls for 1 ball of Red Heart Soft and a size “I” crochet hook. The beauty of this project is it can be made with only one ball of yarn, it works up rather quickly, and it makes a wonderful gift. It looks a lot more difficult than it actually is. Once you get past the first row, it’s just a 2-row pattern repeat. If you know how to make a shell, you can make this project.
I would say this pattern could easily be made in 1 or 2 days. My group worked on this for about 2 hours and this is how far we got:
The Pasadena Crochet Meet Up meets up on the first Saturday of the month in Pasadena, CA. If you’d like more information, please feel free to email Janice (firstname.lastname@example.org) or find us on Meet Up.
