If you’re in the Northeast US, you should plan on attending the Pittsburgh Knit and Crochet Festival and Pittsburgh Creative Arts Festival in 2016! It will be held at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh, PA on March 4-6, 2016. It’s a great opportunity to meet other crafters and to explore new techniques.
This is the 12th year for the festival, and it is expanding! Instead of just being focused on crocheting and knitting, the festival will feature all types of creative arts, including quilting, sewing, paper arts, and more! You will have an opportunity to take any of the 110 classes with experienced teachers, visit the exhibition hall with dozens of booths, work on squares for Warm Up America!, and attend a PJ party.
Plus, the festival is supporting our #StitchAHug campaign to make blankets for the Red Cross. Visit the Charity Knitting and Crochet Lounge at the festival to pick up supplies and instructions and get started crocheting or knitting a blanket. Complete the blanket at home with your local guild or group as a team effort, or finish it yourself.
