Project Planning for 2017

Now that the holiday rush is behind us, I’m starting to think about what projects I’d like to make in this year. Planning projects is always fun, and while I may not stick to all of these ideas, it sure helps to have a starting point when I’m ready to buy yarn.

I know the couch is ready for a new blanket, and I just love this one in Irresistible yarn! I think I might make it in denim instead of oatmeal.

Speaking of the couch, a couple of these cozy pillows would be welcome additions!

Now, on to what I’d like to have for myself! I love scarves and shawls, and often wear them year round in our chilly office, so fresh choices are always needed. Here are my favorites so far

Bright Stripes Scarf

Lacy Blues Pineapple Shawl
Crocheted in Heart & Sole

I haven’t escaped the poncho trend, so I’m adding this pretty option to my list.

And I can’t forget a new winter hat! I think this one will be first up on the ‘to make’ list!

I’m going to leave some room for new patterns released in 2017, as I know there’s a lot coming that I’ll probably end up wanting to make! For now, I think this is a great starting point, time to go yarn shopping!
