Recap of the Pittsburgh Knit & Crochet Festival 2017

The Pittsburgh Knit & Crochet Festival and Pittsburgh Creative Arts Festival for 2017 has come to a close! It was at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center on March 24-26, 2017. There was much to see for knitters and crocheters. There was a Red Heart & Marly Bird Learning Corner booth where we discussed Marly’s New Learning Corner on redheart.com, showed off some of her latest designs and videos on planned pooling. Marly Bird taught several crochet and knit classes and several of the students came to the booth raving about their experience!

There was a  Warm Up America! charity lounge where people could use Red Heart yarns to make squares for the blankets. Plus, an area where children could make jump ropes from Super Saver yarn for the Waldorf School of Pittsburgh school children. The kids will use them to sell at their annual May Fair fundraiser.

Lots of fun was had and new friends were made. Until next year…
