I just opened an email from Redheart and went to download the free ebook of baby patterns and advertised at the bottom is a posting to enter a contest for yarn, the deadline to enter is 2014. Is that the right date?

Hi, Thanks for your question! After you click on the download button you are on the Prime Publishing website Unfortunately, we don’t have details about their contests; you will need to contact them.

Love the hats and baby sweater pattern.

Maybe I’m stupid but I have searched for 20 minutes and I can’t for the life of me find a download link.

Hi Donna, Thanks for your question! The links can be difficult to find. Click on the “Download” links above the picture of the ebook that you want on our blog post to be taken to the Prime Publishing site. On that page, you’ll need to click on the name of the ebook in the text (it is a red link) and then you’ll see a Download link under the picture. We’re sorry it’s a little convoluted!

I downloaded the e-book on my iPad, but I have no idea where to find it. Must I download to an e-reader?

Hi Tina, Thanks for your question! Your iPad comes with an ereader program, iBooks. The icon has an orange background with an open white book in the middle. Open up iBooks and select the library, and see if the ebook is there.

If it is not there, then you may have just opened it in your browser and not downloaded it. If the PDF is open in the Safari browser, you should be able to tap it and select iBooks as the place you want to download it to.

If our instructions don’t work, your best bet is to look online for instructions on downloading PDFs to iBooks. They usually have screenshots and pictures and can help you more than we can.
