Welcome back to the Wednesday Night Stitching Challenge! This week I’m making TWO of the Spicy Crab Cakes pattern.
Once high school and college are over you wonder if you will ever make lasting friends like you had when you were young. I grew up in Louisiana and moved to North Carolina as an adult so I was not sure it would happen. It did! I have five fabulous ladies that are my “grown up” friends. We all lived in the same neighborhood, five of us in the same cul-de-sac. Our kids grew up together and we remained friends even after most of us moved away. I think we are on 14 years now.
Welcome back to the Wednesday Night Stitching Challenge! This week I’m making the Twisted Cowl in Medley. I love to wear scarves and cowls in the winter months, since they dress up an outfit and keep me warm in our cold office.
Welcome back to the Wednesday Night Stitching Challenge, Season 6! This week I’m knitting myself the Create Some Charm Hat. I love thick yarns, so I’m happy to work with our new yarn Grande. Grande is a super bulky yarn (6 weight) and it comes in 9 heathered colors.
A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of introducing The Pasadena Crochet Meet Up to the beautiful Red Heart Soft yarn. The texture, the way it drapes, and the variety of colors are just amazing. Some of the group members opted to use Red Heart Super Saver for this project and it worked out just as well.
Welcome to the second week of Wednesday Night Stitching Challenge Season 6! This week I’m working on the Cardboard Loom Bracelet. I want to make small Christmas gifts for my close group of friends, and I figured that friendship bracelets would be a fun throw-back to childhood. I’m starting now, so that I don’t have to rush to make them. I may change to other types of bracelets in Sizzle, like the Chevron Stripe Bracelet and Diagonal Stripe Bracelet, as I work.
Welcome to the Wednesday Night Stitching Challenge! For the next 8 weeks we’ll be working together on Wednesday evenings and sharing our plans and projects. We’re all so busy it can be difficult to have time to sit down and work on your projects, so I’ve found it easier to set aside time each week. I’m stitching on Wednesdays since it fits my schedule, but you can choose any day that suits you.
Guess what Red Heart friends?!?! I’m expecting my first baby — A BOY — at the end of October and I’ve only just begun making things for him. I really need to get on the ball because he will be here in no time! EEEK!
Now that I know “it” is a “he” I’m going to start whiping things up for sure. I love to make baby hats, especially the ones that are quick and easy but look like they took you weeks to make! ;)
